‘Chowkidar, parivar nahi chalta hai,’ Lok Sabha Elections Abdullah on Lalu Yadav’s ‘no-family’ comment against Modi

On Friday, Omar Abdullah, the head of the Jammu and Kashmir National Congress (JKNC), made the statement that comments such as these do not affect people. Lalu Yadav, the chairman of the RJD, recently remarked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, using the phrase “no family.” This statement was made in response to that remark.

In a report from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Abdullah was quoted as saying, “I was never in favor of such slogans (statements), and we have never benefited from them.” Voters, on the other hand, are not affected by such things; rather, they are interested in knowing how the difficulties that they are currently facing will be remedied during the election.

The leader of the JK National Congress continued by saying, “We create a self-goal by making statements like these and allowing Prime Minister Modi to score.” We must bring up concerns that are associated with individuals. Chowkidar, Adani-Ambani, Rafale, and family are all instances of things that are ineffectual. Other examples include this.

On Sunday, Lalu Yadav was giving a speech at the ‘Jan Vishwas Maha Rally' that was held by the party in Patna. During his address, he criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused him of cultivating animosity under the guise of religion.

Earlier on Monday, several important members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), such as Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Nitin Gadkari, Jyotiraditya Scindia, and others, included the phrase “Modi ka Parivaar” in their descriptions on various social media platforms. This was done as part of a coordinated attempt to rebut the remark that Lalu Prasad Yadav, the head of the RJD, made regarding the words “no family” that Prime Minister Narendra Modi used.

Shortly after that, Prime Minister Modi gave a response to the remarks that were made by the RJD Chief while he was addressing a public gathering in Adilabad, which is situated in the state of Telangana. He stated in the following manner: “The leaders of the INDI-Alliance, who are deeply involved in corruption, nepotism, and appeasement, are becoming increasingly distressed.” The Prime Minister continued by saying, “When I question their ‘Parivarvad,' they have started to assert that Modi does not have a family.”

There are crores of daughters, mothers, and sisters who are members of Modi's family at present. These individuals come from throughout the country. The members of my family include every person in the country who is considered to be disadvantaged. The individuals who do not have a companion are also members of Modi, and Modi himself is a member of such individuals. According to him, “They say ‘Nene Modi Kutumbam' (I am a member of the Modi family).”

Following the Prime Minister's adoption of the “Chowkidar” slogan in 2019, the prefix “Main Bhi Chowkidar” was added to the names of both members of the general public and leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This came about as a result of the implementation of the slogan.
